facelift? what mine is stock and its sh*t lol haha when i saw urs im like wow yeah i live around brighton le sands i got lost and was lookn at themap was takin my mum and little bro to footy

Wasn't yours a series 2? Anyway it looked pretty clean, grey day and it looked nice and red!

In Feb 1997 they changed the front bar slightly..FTOs from then on are sometimes called 'series 2' or 'facelift' models (because their 'face' has been upgraded, geddit?

)

Anyway easiest way to tell is look at the front bar. If you have separate fog lights and front indicator turning lights (two circles) below the headlights, that's the later one. Earlier models have a combined, oval fog/indicator light assembly.

Perhaps then a silly question, but mine is a GPX but has the GPvR spoiler on it. Not sure if this came as factory or perhaps was put on before it hit our shores?

The below one shows that it's a Facelift model but has the older spoiler?

Hmm .. That's strange. Might be just an add on .. ?

I have the Dual Airbags as well .. and the bright blue scuff plates. I noticed that I don't have a rear antenna either and instead it runs from behind my rear view mirror from the top of the front windscreen.
