central console panel wanted and need help with ID cable

Post by yirong1188 »

hello all,

I need a central console surround panel ASAP. If anyone has one, please let me know, it will be much apprieciated. (please refer to the 1st picture)

Also can someone identify the cable in the 2nd picture for me, about what that cable is for? I'm guessing it's for the head unit, but not sure, also my lights in the car: e.g. reading light in the front and the light in the bootlid is not working..... not sure if the cable is for the lights as well??? can somebody kindly identify it for me..

actually, it does look like that tube... remember how we pulled out my top half, and there was that tube chris...?

i think that it can fall down that far if it was disconnected...

then again, i may be wrong.

im pretty sure it's not for the climate control, 'coz it's working fine.. but really want to know what that cable is for.. it's hard to describe... it's a plastic tube with a lot of thin wires(lines)inside it ...... don't know what it is for.....

Perhaps some better poses from the cable will help us to help you.

Its not a cable. From the pic it is to do with the a/c climate control but not sure exactly what for... If you look at the top of the centre console you will notice a small pipe it goes over. You have to almsot have the console on to attach it since its not very long.

that pipe is for the CC for the sensor. thats what RnBBoi was talking about...but he reckons there are wires in it so if thats the case its not the one.
