should I be worried?

Post by quain »

so i was near the intersection between springvale road and high street heading in the direction of glen when this P plate commodore drove up and started revving his engine and cutting lanes in front of me

Unfortunately for him when he passed the intersection there were a couple of flashes from the speed camera which made him went all pussy.

Being constantly harassed by commodores and sucking it up everytime... i drove next to him at the next red light, looked at him and shook my head.

I swear the guy was gonna get out and start something but here's the cool part, his mate said something and when the light turned green he let me go first and from the rear mirror i saw him writing down my plate num.

So i was thinking is he gonna bring me down with him somehow? I know i was not speeding at all so yeah... should i be worried?

You should not be worried, but a word of advice, dont shake your head at other people as they might take offence at it. Unless your that sure of your own abilities.

Take offence? Well wouldn't you take offended if some retard was cutting in front of you and taunting you at the lights?

One important thing that most people don't realise:
Just because they're P platers doesn't mean they're not undercovers.

In this situation, you have nothing to worry about, AT ALL. There's no way you can get done for anything, if they try to report you for something, it's a fact that you weren't doing anything wrong. You can turn it around on them, especially since they got flashed for being idiots. Plus what can they bring you down for? Nobody has any proof of anything so don't worry about it.

And seriously, if any of you run into somebody doing this, don't fall for it and race.. guy I worked with got his car impounded. He was at the lights, some asian guy in a commodore with P plates pulled up to him, started revving, so my friend raced him. Friend took off, guy turned out to be a undercover, pulled him over and I can't remember if he just copped a big fine or had to go to court for street racing, this was about 2 years ago so not so clear on that but don't get fooled by P plates.

Plus, I went to my friend's house last week to a world of warcraft pre payment card, parked in front of his house, got out, pulled out money and gave it to him and cops jump out of his parked commodore with green P plates and flash their badges asking what we're doing.

Never race any fords or holdens

Its not just commodores and falcons you have to watch out, at work we service most of the police cars including speed cameras and I have come along an astra undercover car, it didn't have a radar but it did have the siren and lights, haven't seen it for a while.

I don't think the police sending you a ticket in the mail is an issue, don't want to scare you but, I think the issue is they took down your plates to find information about you - where you live comes to mind - I heard that people can track you down if they have you plates.
