Need tappets for my FTO GPX MIVEC MANUAL.
where can i get em from. i live in melbourne. is there any shop where i can get em from or do i have to order online. ifhave to get em from some website, can i have the website address.

I am assuming you already know that GPX tappets are adjustable, so you dont need to change them.
If you really need to change it, contact Kempys from NZ,

My mechanic says he need tappet studs. now i do not know where to get em from. whats the differnce between tappet stud and tappet. honestly do not what a tappet is and what its function is. so ya i'm dumb when it comes such matters.lol

ok dood

to adjust the tappet there is a plastic screw on the top...this can break off...so assuming this is attached u r ok. Most mechanics have no idea wrt FTO tappets - your in melb ? Take it to Lee he will fix it up..

lol it is with lee.
he is the one fixing my car.
he told me that the tappet studs/cap need to be replaced. now i do not know what that is? and where you can get em from. any idea anyone.

arh then I trust the answer. Lee is the man. that is what he is talking about the plastic screw bit on the top is broken and he cant adjust it...I think that means u need new ones...new tappets that is.

have u asked him to get them for u? he usually gets them. he replaced mine when he adjusted my tappets last month

Nihon parts in QLD or Kempys in NZ would be the best bet :wink:
