Hi Guys, ok so heres the deal...
Was looking at getting d2 coilovers for my mates pulsar n16 and my fto.
however my mechanic said put these racing logics in. my pulsar mate had his cash so he went and did the install. so far there have beena few problems...
the rear top mounts are wrong, have to get new ones from racing logic.
second, there is a rattle or noice that is primarily comming from the passenger side coilover that sounds like when you go over a bump its hitting the 'end of the line' as far as the shock is concerned...not a good noise. occasionally does it to the drivers side too.
overall not a very good expeirience.
now i am looking at he g4s from justjap.com.
if the racing logic project goes belly up, shoul di get these or just stick with d2s????

RPW Recently fitted some Tiens to a customers car and what an amazing setup. On the softest setting, firm on the road but no bouncing, no jolting and they handle amazingly well and were a direct bolt on no mods.
Turn the setting sup and you get that real race suspesnion feel but not too harsh where teh car bounces.
Any FTO owner wanting coil overs cannot recomend them enough. These are not the normal Tien kits but the revalved australian ones.

The tiens sell for $2350.00 for the complete four struts.
They are adjustable on rebound and height although in there factory setting, they give you 140mm ground clearance, so for most people this is just enough to make the car look a little lower and give clearance for curbs etc.
On our vehicle we put them on, we lowered the rear a little more to make the car look flatter, and then of course wheel aligned it.
The best thing wih the Tien Kits, is you can later purchase the additional eletronic controlle which can then let you eletrically change the rebound rates from inside the car on three preset or custom settings. You can go extreme and get two controllers, one for front and rear, or ultra extreme and get four controllers one for each corner (Over kill in my opinion)
