Found out today that the WRX MY05 series came out in a "sports shift" auto which im guessing is the same as out Tip...
So if you know of any around for sale let me know !

They come out in the MY03 and MY04 also
FTO617 why post a comment like that, be more constuctive and tell me why they are F&@*ed ?
If those gearboxs are fucked then so would the FTO tips and i dont hear any FTO owners complaining ...

I will give you a bit of tip;
The wrx gearboxes are very well known for having glass gearboxes (break easily). I would think the tip would be even worse.

since u cannot physically drive manual for long time
and u love mitsubishi
hwo about go for the evolution VII GT-A
they come with invecs-II 5spd auto
and nice pearl blue stock interior
only their spoiler is a lot smalled than the normal evos.
but they fast at 206kws right

EVO VIII also comes in GTA, similar price to EVO VIII, there are heaps for sales.

i tell him to get evo VII GTA because the price is more closer to his MY05 tip wrx.
evo8 GTA will be way over it.

Since all the evos were bought in as a "low volume" import by mitsubishi, you can still import them through private at a much cheaper rate.
There are quite a lot of companies that can import one for you.
Just ask around!

YEah your right, just spoke to a dealer in NSW that are starting to import them, looking at around $35k
He said they were about 6months off but other dealers would already have them..

You think one of these would do over a WRX, im sure they would be built better and the transmission wouldnt be made out of glass !

ahhaha. These are a TAD better. jokes.
The transmission is MUCH better, I think the whole package is better.
