Report back from Graham West & dyno result

Post by mrx »

Had my car checked over by Graham West, as did Luca a couple of weeks back. Looking at prepping the car properly for track work, and want to have some piece of mind about the replacement engine at the same time.

Basically a full engine inspection and test, as well as a dyno run and test drive with written report.

And, as for the dyno result, a nice return of 108kw's thank you very much. Will scan shortly and post.

Most interesting thing was the actual shape - and the fact there is no drop off at all at MIVEC change over - just keeps on rising. Also the pick up after that is the steepest point - goes from 90kw to 102kw in about 8km/h.

Basically stock except for the UAS intake pipe, pod filter, cannon exhaust exiting on passenger side.....and thats about it. Interestingly the report said that the exhaust was 2.5" cat back - not sure about that.

For FTO owners in SA - can recommend getting them to look over your car if you are at all concerned about anything. They know the cars, and are not expensive - costs $150 for whole thing including dyno.
