Running rich...how to adjust?
Hey guys, my baby is running very rich. it always has been since i got her, but now my friends even comment about the blue smoke and smell of petrol when i rev her hard...
how can i adjust this???
is it bad she runs like this. i have always thought it had bad fuel consumption (city driving - 400ks per tank, coutry driving 500-600ks per tank)
also will an apexi (or similar ) controller help tune my car (with extractors, 2.5" full exhust, CAI, etc)?

If your getting black smoke then check the following, O2 sensor MAF/MAP and water temp sensor as those 3 things control the amount of fuel that goes into your engine, also the throttle postition sensor as well.frozenwaffles wrote:Hey guys, my baby is running very rich. it always has been since i got her, but now my friends even comment about the blue smoke and smell of petrol when i rev her hard...

No point in spending money on a piggy back if there is a problem with the original set up.
