triptronic gear selection lights help

hi guys


anyone have any idea why the lights on the rev counter dont light up when im in auto or sport mode , have checked all fuses and dont see any thats blown ...



any help is much appreciated

yeah they should work...they work in auto mode right??

yep they should light up when in either mode. dunno, replace your bulbs with blue ones and see if that fixes it lol

most likely bulbs, when i bought mine i had to replace 3 of them, 1 in the clock, the "D" in the cluster and 1 in the rev counter... common fault but easily fixed.... i mean you dont expect a bulb to last more than 10 years do you?

when i got the car it was fitted with the dash from a manual as there were no markings on the rev counter for the gears ,, so i bought the dash cluster from an auto but to me at the back of the cluster where there should be like 8 lights for in auto and sport mode , these holes are covered by the flexible electronic board .


ps: no lights come on when in auto or sport
