when my alternator died
i drove for 30mins to my mechanic
but i advise u NOT TO INDICATE
every tiem u indicate a lot of power is used...
i advise u not go to autosalon...when your alternator die on the road and u get stuck
u'll look like a faggot on the road...and imagine if it died RIGHT OUTSIDE of the complex where autosalon is held!
and your car ahs all the autosalon stickers over it...
that will be emabarrassing...
or u can buy one of thsoe battery charges and tell a mate to go with u...
when your battery is dying, clip onto their battery and charge

I did a test run on Friday run,
Started the car, headlights on, regular running conditions,
Starting voltage was 12.35, within 5 mins on warming up, voltage went down to 7.6v, my headlights went like candle bright, and the whole dash components stopped working,
There was absolutely no way that I can get to Autosalon.
So I went there anyways to collect my free weekend pass,
Guress what?
They lost the electricity and there was a huge queue outside to get in.
Even if i get there, i would have just got stuck on the queue for sure, what an embarassement would it be,
Anyways, there were 2 more FTOs on display.
One was belong to Toni, red facelift, I had a chat with her, I think she has bit too many drinks during the day, it was pretty straight forward,
Another one was belong to a chick, outside of the forum, I started have a chat with her to explain about the web forum. Her bf kinda get irritated, and tried to piss me off, I just loughed
Overall, model search was the highlight, I have never seen so much selulite in mylife,
I will be there next year for sure

My alternator packed up on me tonight. Luckily I made it home safely. I was driving with practically no headlights or dashlights.

Can anyone recommend a "good" place in Melbourne that can re-condition my alternator. This is the 2nd time in 4 years that this has happened to me. I dont want to go back to the place i took it last time, cos the guy had no idea about FTO's.
