I have this small problem with my fto which i might as well ask.
At first i thought it's the tap tap noise from the tappets but now i'm having some doubt...
The noise only comes on after the car is warmed up and stopped but goes away if i put the car in neutral or park... this sure sounds like tappets needing adjustment but the noise seems to come from the driver side of the engine bay. My mechanic said it isn't the tappets and it's not something to freak over about. But the noise does kinda get annoying everytime im at a light stop and it's getting more distinct now so it would be great if any of you guys can shed some light on this

It could be as simple as your bonnet holder, that long metal tube thingi,
If it is touching to the chassis it may vibrate at certain rpm,
Try to stick a small soft piece of Velcro underneath the hook part of the metal bar,
That fixed my problem,
