IS it a REAL MIVEC??

Post by mcgal »

Hey Guys

Looking at buying a 5spd GPX MIVEC and went testing over the last week.
Came across one that seemed in A1 condition however didn't feel like it had MIVEC...The guy kept on going on about how "Smooth" the transition was from normal to MIVEC but from driving others..there is more of a rush...

Are there any tell tale signs of a real GPX MIVEC interior, engine bay etc...Perhaps any MIVEC Engine numbers people may have....Its very easy to put on a MIVEC rocker cover...

Cheers

i've got a GPX and I've only driven that, so how do you guys tell where the MiVEC kicks in? I'm not sure what it's supposed to sound or feel like. I just know that I like my engine very much lol ;)
