Hi people!!!!
recently i have been experiencing a series of "hops" when i take off with my car... AND now i have just found out that ITS THE ENGINE MOUNT! went to four mechanics and only one have found out what it was.

he has told me that i need the FRONT and the REAR engine mount.

the rear one for rme has completely broken, and has been for quite some time now... and the front one is still usable but he recomends i change that as well!

so people... PLEASE HELP ME!

LOOKING FOR FRONT AND REAR ENGINE MOUNTS!

RPW have them cheaper :D

How can I check my own mounts? Like, are they visible from the engine bay?

front one is the big metal arm on the far left of the engine bay connected to the engine with a rubber thing in the middle

poly ones give u less lift on takeoffs too :) (compared to normal ones)

if u broke the metal bits though you cant replace those with polyeurethane :? :P

There are 4 mounts on the FTO motor. One on the arm on the left of the engine, one one the right connected to the gearbox & two below the motor connected to the cross member - they are the ones that commonly go. The cross member is sorta not a crossmember as it goes from the front of the motor to the back (rather than left to right) and it has a mount at both the front & back of it.
