Schumies week of laughter...

Post by SchumieFan »

oh yes... it has been a fun month... but this week has been the most interesting... several things lead me to wonder why im even currently on this earth... but ill skip the BS and get to the stuff you guys are interested in...

POP

yes thats right... thats the sound of a 6A12 Mivec losing its rear head at 159900Ks

ok so on tuesday im 2 hours into a 3 hour drive back to my olds and i look down and my temp gauge is sitting on 'H' .

NOT a good sign.

so i pull over and wait for a half hour for it to cool down and notice that mysteriously im out of oil and water in my vehicular monstrosity, so i limp it 5k to a servo, top up the water and oil and pray i havnt done something expensive, but alas it wasnt to be, im now blowing smoke similar to what yopu see when a F1 car blows its engine, im pretty sure ive blown the rear head, if not, both.

GOOD NEWS! for a mere $1300 i can buy another 6A12 mivec with only 89XXX ks.... so with that on order arriving late this week ill be slapping that puppy in in the 4 days i have off when i get back from melbourne.... yes i will take photos and post the whole bloody thing.

*sigh* isnt life fun?
even the guy at Mitsu said he'd never heard of a 6a12 blowing a head, most uncommon... im pretty sure im gonna paint the car yellow to match its 'Lemon' image. :) Have to laugh... otherwise ill cry... some people just arent meant to drive aye.

anyway, next wednesday (29th) ill be landing in melbourne for the F1, so are people keen to do something that weekend or what? might try a meet in the Vic section...

Oh and pete..... buying a skyline behind my back? way not cool dude. tut tut tut

Mitsubishi's official Dismantlers has 2 mivec 6a12's, 1 with 89000ks and 1 with 91000ks, both are $1300! thats a steal! and freight to the other side of the country is only $58! for those prices id be stupid not to buy 1, i thought about buying both, i could easily flog the other off for twice that price.

where have i been? well.... like i said its been an interesting month... compound problems, but the gist of it it i need a new power plug for my laptop and HP dont make that part.... moral of the storey... DONT BUY AN HP!!!!

yeah im on my flatmates HP shitbox too!
