Groove

Post by dstocks »

The problem is going to be the groove down the middle of the roof. FTO's with the factory roof dont have the groove for that reason!

Not that this makes it impossible, just harder :D

Not enough room in the FTO roof for the second one.

There are some panel beaters out there that can fit an aftermarket sunroof, get that grove in the roof taken out, I guess they will sorta flaten it out and stuff.
There sunrooves are pretty good, I see a few of them fitted on Holden Ute around town, very tidy work.

i wouldnt do it if i were you aftermarket sunroofs never sit flush with the roof and look horrible. they sit on top of the roof if that makes any sense and have a very noticable lip around the roof thats just plain ugly

Just a thought??? What about moulding a set of LED lights to fill the gap on the front and the back of the roof E.G: night rider style. 8O

two reason why i didn't get it

    1. stuffs up the chassis balance
    2. lots of aftermarket sunroof will leak water in when you open the it after rain :x
The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.
