What type of ECU does the FTO have?

What if you go & modify the motor? Your tune will be out & no-one in Aus can re-do it??

Well i have an e-manage in the car as well so that takes over.

I just wish somehow I can get it retuned or something to raise the rev limiter, maybe around 8500rpm
Or if I get internals etc done maybe a bit over 9000rpm or so

Correct. When you also factor in that it's most likely been tuned for higher octane fuel it's a pretty risky idea to keep one in.

Regarding the chip idea Spetz, MINES have traditionally used all sorts of tricks to prevent exactly that happening - like encasing the chip in resin so it can't be written to. Their way of ensuring that no-one else could alter their tune.
