I wanna fix up the interior of my car. I saw this stuff on ebay and i was wondering if anyone had used it before? I gotta couple of concerns though. If it is just a sticker, im worried that it will come out looking real tacky. Also if it is stick on, will it peel off? i live in townsville where it is fairly hot year round. And there is no real shady parking at work.

any help would be awesome.
Does this stuff work??

Firstly click the big link in my signature. Secondly, dstocks got a stick on woodgrain one... it was ok, but he wasn't happy with bits that didn't fit perfect and all the visible joins. He got everything professionally done for around $700 and it come up beautiful.

Yep
Yep, what he said. Dont waste your money. Heat effects it, so do the curves in the dash. Fit isnt perfect either.
Pictures of new dash here ($700 from dashboard centre):

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.

Stickon
Thats because it isnt a stick-on, its a dipping treatment. Its the same process as used for new cars I believe. I send them the bits, they do some form of dipping and then cover in a clear estapol. Looks 100X better than the stickons, goes right around the corners and once on cannot be removed - so it doesnt peel in the heat.
