My New exhaust

Post by khunjeng »

Hey

I got a new High-Flow Cat + Muffler + stock looking tail pipe all in 2.5" all fully sick straight through setup...

I'm totally unhappy with the sound at low revs although at high revs its pretty decent..the performace is fine.

Questions is does every1s sound sh*t at low revs...or is it just me?? I havn't got a resonator...maybe this would help adjust this sound??

Its also pretty damn loud...the misses hates it...I might have to get a more quite one..

My guess would be maybe if u got extractors it would sound better.

Sorry if thats vague but im tired and couldn't b fucked thinking of an explanation, for my answer

get a resonator... chances are you wont be able to feel the performance difference and itll make a BIG difference to the noise.... and the missus will let you back into the house..

There's always the HKS Dragger........but that's a muffler! I heard a clip on the internet from a guy in the UK with the Ralliart one and it sounded mean!!! :P

yeah I have my resonator fitted now...has a more consistant sound and a few less dBs!!

Still sounds wicked at high revs...and a little more normal at low revs...has a nice sound at idle...

I'm considering to take my resonator off. I have the full exhaust set-up and the 5zigen firball muffler and the only reason i put it on is that one cop thought it was a tad loud!!!!!
