Ok I know what your problem is, same thing happended to me.

First thing to do is get the tool kit outa the back of the car (the one with the jack handle etc in it). In there you will find a bar with an allen key type hex end. On the roof of the car in front of the mirror, where the switches for the sunroof are, there is a little square compartment. Open that up and using the hex bar gently wind in the sunroof until you cant go any further. It helps to have two ppl to do this, one to wind and one to check out where the roof stops on the tracks. What you will find is there will be a little silver bar that has displaced on the track and is blocking the sunroof closing, look carefully cos it is a bit hard to see, keep winding the roof back and forward gently until you spot it. Use a precision screwdriver to push the bar back into place. I used a soldering iron to slightly warp the housing that holds the bar to stop it coming out again. It worked, just warp it a tiny bit though dont get carried away.

Good luck and let me know how you go.

I have had this problem since the Mallacoota cruise

I did get some info from Foulz about it... but it wasn't particularly easy to understand :?

Might have another look at it tomorrow.

This happened to me when I put my sunroof back in. If the above does not work, loosen off the screws where the cable enters the sunroof assembly. This has to be just right or it will do what you describe!!!

See you shouldn't have messed with those kookaburras! Now while you were eating the other day they messed with your sunroof when they heard you say you hate them.

You gotta watch out with birds actually. I think there was a thread or something in here talking about bird sh*t.

I don't know why but for some reason I always get a nice pile of bird sh*t on my car anywhere I park. Something about the red paint just drives em nuts! Do you get the same thing anbu?

Got the glass panel off, excellent. Now wind the sunroof in until it get stuck, on both of the tracks look very closely where its getting stuck, and I mean closely, its very hard to see.

Is the sticky out bit on the inside or the outside of the rails?

Inside of the rail. Very very small, and very hard to see, but as I said if you have someone wind the sunroof in slowly while you check to see where it's stopping its a lot easier, and as I forgot to mention you have to remove the sunroof glass....
