plastic square under accelarator

has anyone tried to remove this small palstic square with arrow sign under the accelarator to improve accelaration?? if so it is safe to removed this?

If you actually check, when your foot is down fully, the throttle body is already fully open (you can tell it can't open any more).
So basically removing it wont do any difference, besides maybe loosen the cable over time!

I am not sure what that thing is there for... every car that I checked has it

Probably to stop you putting a hole in the carpet if you're a lead foot
