weird noise on foot rest???

hey guys when i apply brakes i feel a weird grinding noise and i can feel i under the foot rest???
anybody have any ideas???
it feels like something is moving i dunno??

sounds like your pads are shot?

normally if i feel/hear something like that it mean drop the car of to a specialist brake place!
