Infinty???

hi guys...

just thinking about buying a new system for me beloved one.
just need some input from people as to how infinity performs before buying.

I had Infinity Kappa in my FTO before, they're great for its price, IMO they are better then most domestic market brand like Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine, Clarion.....etc

The new series is Kappa Perfect, cost a little bit more then Kappa, what ever you do, don't get those reference range, they just crap.

um.. i cant remember what im getting but its a full system... but the only thing is that the 6 chan amp is of the refference series... and a clarion/sony deck, either one of them.... still deciding, they are like tv dvd crap.... and yea the system is going for 3.5k

I must agree Clarion all the way over Sony...I have a top end Clarion deck (for it's time) and it can't be faulted by me.

Dont entirely agree with you kev! Infinity are excellent speakers and amps,ive just fitted 2005 reference range infinity speakers in my ute and to be quite honest the sound from them is as good if not better than my fto set up was which was fitted with kappa and kappa perfect speakers

Either way you cant go wrong with infinty

ehheeh well scracy, i guess i've got a more sensitive ears then yours, i found a huge different between reference & kappa. I found a even bigger different when i change them to Diamond Audio.

You got to remember this scracy you are compare in two different car, so it will have different effect.

True the accoustics in my ute are probably better than the fto's heaps more sound deadening etc

its going for $399 at JB
is this not as good beacause the watts it puts out or what ??
really dont know how to compare head units....
going to buy it soon...can someone show me others which are better for the price?

i run sony 6 inch fronts and 6x9s rear as well as the factory 6x9s hidden behind the rear passenger arm rests and they pump out great sound.

have thought about switching to pioneer as my head unit is 1
