gotta love ebay

Post by wild_flower »

found this description when looking for a book shelf on ebay today, another classic example of chingrish

"As you know, the Chinese has long history around the world. You can see this item was carved very wonderful. This item was carved all by hand, so wonderful item! It is a typical artware of that time. And it is very important and significance for investigating the old chinese culture. If you win it you will get good luck. It is very wonderful. It is in good condition, no crack and no chip. Look at the pictures you can see the shape is very well. If you are chinese antiques collector, please do not miss so better chance to get it. enjoying your bidding!"

mind u that they are trying to sell a 28x26 cm book shelf (for something that's onli 28cm high and then made into 3 shelves, can it still hold books?).
Doesnt the item sound WONDERFUL???? If u've been down on your luck lately u noe now what your missing aye?! a bookshelf! 8O

This is a weapon to be coveted by real swords lover. The handmade blade has an aggressive distal taper to promote quickness and balance and has a long tang for strength. Mark "BaWangJian"--OVERLORD Sword and"XiangYu"--a great personality in chinese history. The staff is tightly wrapped in a traditional pattern to optimize handling and adds to the distinctive appearance of this beautiful weapon. used sword but in perfect condition!
