it doesnt even load for me, the site loads fine but not the game. any ideas people?

Kazbah try holding shift or control while clicking it, the game opens in a pop-up window and something is blocking it. If your using Firefox (which you should be!) then there'll be a yellow bar at the top saying it has blocked a popup, and just click allow.

nup no good - even told nortons to allow pop ups - but nothing. The game loads but when you press start it doesnt enter the game!
