GT Wing or no wing??? Opinions please!!!

Post by mrx »

Have a problem. I have a GT wing to go on the car, but the more I see it without a wing, the more it is growing on me.

I still like it with the GT wing, but I kinda think I like it more without. Realise not the best photo's to judge, but that's all ya got :)

Thoughts???

To be honest that GT Wing is a bit too high.

As much as I'd love to, I don't think I could ever add one to my car simply because I know of the mockery I'd receive for it.

I do like GT wings, but IMO i don't think they suit the FTO unless you do the whole race theme like Mikey once did.

Agreed - I can't stand wingless cars, and IMO the FTO looks especially wrong without one. I usually can't stand GT wings either, but in this case I'd vote for that if it were the only other option. And they can look OK on the FTO...

But it's your opinion, your choice :)

I love GT wings my FTO is black with the white GT stripes and i have a huge wing and it looks great i will post some pics later on, the only problem i had was the fact it was aluminium and i got a defect and infingement notice so i have to get an all carbon fiber one, "you cannot have a metal attachment on your car" that was the cops complaint. does anoyone know a good place to get carbon wings? or know if someone is selling 1?

are there any places that have fto wings in stock in SA?

i dint want to go a gt wing.. its a bit showy for my tastes...

the whole nakaya tune kit looks excellent on the fto.. i think better than any others that have come out so far... but i have no way of getting my hands on one...

incl. the wing... nice and chunky

and mr x ... nice tail lights... did you get covers or were you really careful when blacking them out?
either way i love the look... very nice.. sorta rounds off the back as well..

I got my wheels at Tempe Tyres and the overnight delivery was pretty damn nifty!

That aside....Tempe is more of a bling bling place to buy wheels....big chrome wheels that belong on show cars more than they do on little sports cars.

Go to Tempe if you're looking to get a real pimpin' ride....but if you're going for that classy look, I'd suggest somewhere else. Their range of "normal" looking wheels is somewhat limited.

They are cheap though! :D

Stick with the wing!!!!

I have a GT wing on mine,

Much better to stand out from the crowd, than to hide in it. IMO

Not many owners in the UK seem keen, but dare to be different.
