just wanting to know how many ppl would be interested in getting the mivec cover made out of carbon fibre ? would cost around the 250$ mark if we got 5 ppl or more. if u guys are looking for pics i got 1 but dont know how to post it up.

I believe the one on the pic is a spray on, & I think Shue is going through the same person Camo had mention before, which could be CF covering.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

yup same guy camo is getting the front bar from, its not a cf coating but 100% cf. according to him he cant do cf lamination as yet coz i wanted my centre console and a few other bits and pieces laminated. the mivec cover would be cf and the pic is not what hes made but just something i found on the uk forums to give u guys an idea of what to expect. if we could get 5 ppl interested he could make a full body kit kinda like the creative one though he would have to make it with his own design due to copyright laws n stuff. if u want to see some of his work go to www.topstage.com or check out the cf stuff mikey had made sometime back

hey bobz i couldnt generate enough interest to get it done for 250$. if u are really interested you can get it made along with me but would cost u around 300$ but i wont be gettin it made for atleast a few more months coz i got to do other stuff on my car first. if your in melb pm and i'll send u the dude contact details for u to go straight to him . he does also make a lot of other cf stuff like airboxes, radiator covers etc.

theres a few threads on this within the group buy and styling areas... to answer your question, he makes carbon fibre heatshield /air boxes...

they are not legally an airbox, but have a lid, side wall and bottom wall.
