Interior Bulbs

Post by umm »

Almost all the bulbs in my interior are blown except the ones for my dials, but some of them are dimmer than the others.

Could i get replacement bulbs from somewhere like repco.
What kind of bulbs are needed for:
1. electronic climate control (two kinds i think?)
2. Mirror control bulb
3. Cigarette lighter bulb
4. Ash tray bulb
5. Dial bulbs
6. Clock and voltmeter bulbs

Codes or something for these would be helpful.
thanks.

Yeah get led's from www.ledsales.com.au :) man i've been plugging them all day!

But Lance is seriously really good to deal with. Good prices too. LED's that are $3.50 each at Jaycar he sells for 70c each... and these are brighter tehn the jaycar ones.

They are a bit fiddily and you have to solder your own resistors to them but it's worth it.

I got a bright even colour all around by replacing each globe in teh dash with 2 leds and angling them...

The clock, climate control etc jsut use one bulb each (i filied off the tops of the leds to make them a wider angle)

IF you going to replace with LEDs then

1.2xT5 and 2x T10
2.???? if you mean the actual reading light then they are festoon globes 41mm.
3.T5
4.T5 but if use LED the wide angle will be much better
5.Main dials T10
6. 2 T5 for clock 1 T10 for voltmeter
Most of these you can find at http://www.digielite.com.au/ and http://www.ledshoponline.com/automotive ... estoon.htm

hope this helps

Thanks for the help, i'll try the Leds then. :)
With 2. i meant the bulb that lights up the mirror controls with the mirror folding button on it and adjusts the side mirror angle. At least i think there is a bulb in there? :?
