Missing Bolt in rear Suspension

Post by G_A_V »

Hi Guys, I have had this bolt missing from my suspension since i got it, when I first got the car the bolt was just dangling there, so i took it out so it does not make an anoying sound.
But in the wet the car has had some very nast suprises, with the rear just swinging out randomly even with a consitant speed and turning radious, sometimes its just slipped out.
Anyways I took the car the nrma to get an assment so i could get the car fixed under warenty, and they didnt even pick up on it till i had pointed it out. and by the time i got all the paper work the warenty was up.
Anyways I have been trying to track down the parts to replace the bolt + tube + bushes.
Here is a photo of the bolt as i found it dangling i nthe supension, it looks bent so i might have the replace it too.

and here is a photo of where its ment to go

If anyone could give me part numbers/names I would greatly appreciate it, Ill prob order the parts though mitsu then, unless anyone has a better option

Geez, well durr you're gonna have the rear end misbehaving :P

It's the rear drop link. You can pick up the entire assembly either brand new from probably Mitusbishi or maybe Funky or some place like that. Or any FTO spare parts mob will be able to supply you with a second hand one. If you go down that road get them checked out by a suspension expert because they can supply you with worn out ones.
