Yeah thats right, I did a write up somewhere on almost all of the things i've done by now, so it should be somewhere in this forum.

Well i went to VicRoad with it, & they said is fine, & i got pull over by cops few times & they didn't say anything either.

I made a custom CAI from the existing air pipe. Bought a straight metal pipe and used the two existing 90degree bends to make a decent CAI.
Cost me $20 for the pipe. Then I hacked the feed pipe from the top of the radiator to the old filter box to make a custom cold air feed. Filter sits right ontop of the hole and pipe begins right behind the mesh on the front bumper.
Cost me about $2 for some duct tape. Works great and its hidden so doesnt have to look flashy. In the process of making a custom heat shield box for the filter to live in. Already got the templates and should cost me about $75 for material and for a friend to route it.

Will load pictures later. 8)

I only did it coz i had half a can left over.... Really surprised how well it came up.

Left it on for 5mins, then rubbed it down with a cloth.

Been a on few days so far. Still looks shiney and new. It's water proof and lasts quite well on tires, so hopefully will last a little while longer. But then a can of tyre blacking isn't that expensive if needs another coat.... :)

yeh Grue, that can work really well. I also used a leather treatment on my dash, steering well, and handbrake gaitor, which makes it look great. only problem is that any dust in the car or that gets blown into the car, sticks on it, but i guess that's gonna happen regardless.

mmmm. know what you mean - when it's clean, dust shows up more! Although - might be my imagination, but lot easier to wipe off now.
