BP petrol has ethanol in it now?

Post by Supplanter »

I went down to my local BP tonight to fill up on Ultimate and noticed that all of the bowsers have had the "does not contain ethanol" stickers removed.

Has BP changed their petrol mixtures? 8O
LED ALL the things.

Maybe is time for them to remove 2-3yrs old marketing campaign. You can always write a letter to BP, or ask the servo guy, which i doubt he/she know though.

doesnt matter if anything is over 5% of ethanol they hafta tell you
also i learnt in chemistry that anything under 15% does no damage to the engine or fuel lines

But 16% does? As far as I know it's only in the E10 stuff or whatever it's called. None of that will be getting near my car.
