new bumper? my week just got worse!

After being told I need to open up my engine, and possibly rebuild it, I was driving home friday when a car swerved into my lane, i slamed the brakes and swerved away and ran into a wooden pole.. Im very lucky that the pole collapsed and it just scratched the bumper, taking off paint.

THe other driver has taken responsibility but he doesnt have insurance!

im wondering whether I just get cash for a respray, or use that cash to get a new bumper! I know the facelift are about $600, and im assuming another $400 for spray. Did anyone work out a cheap lights outfit for them? Mikey?

the indicator and spotties shouldn't cost you more than $250 all up...

i got a quote today for spray, fitting, and lights for $600.... that seem reasonable?
