FTO Clutch Plate Replacement

Post by SthDunn »

Hi all,

Hope all is well! So I stay in South Africa, just purchased a FTO GPX as a project car. The engine is pristine, just some issues with CV joints and shocks that need replacing and so on. But took it for a good spin and noticed the 3rd gear slips a lot, so I just rev up high from 2nd and go into 4th, which is not ideal

Anyway, im still newish to cars and unfortunately I am 1 of like 10 with an FTO in SA, and parts are going to be difficult. Is it possible to use a Pajero clutch plate or any other generic brand? Ive seen people recommend the Exedy MBK-7277 but for the price and shipping I could buy a new car

Any help and criticism appreciated!

Many thanks

EVO 1-3 clutches fit.

Also many clutches for a 4G93 engine *should* fit as well.
