LCD ODOMETER FIX

Hello Vectose on the Forum mentioned that its possible to swap the milage chip to a new cluster

Are there any how to's on how to do this ?
And is it possible to swap the actual LCD screen ? and does anyone know a part number for the screen ?
And where is the Milage Chip ?
I have a complete spare odometer so might be able to swap and change the parts

ok saw video and yes i had same thing 2 years ago .i tried to fix it but couldnt.tried to replace film .basically destroyed gauge. couldnt find anyone else who had this problem at the time .so i replaced whole cluster unit with another one same model no.worked Great but couldnt reset mileage counter never mind,drove around for 6months all good then same thing is happening again.black mark has happened on new cluster blow me down.it started from the right side so aint as bad as starting from the left but is slowly covering numbers .i wish i knew how to stop it but dont know .

I fixed it . swapped out the lcd from another speedometer
