Re: vipfto's turbo ride
wasnt happy with how 5/6 point harness was bolted up so over last week have fabbed up new bits and all nicely bolted in out of way easily removable too.
Played with tune at idle to get it lower and not so rich got it spot on was actually idle @ 1300rpm now 850-900 so Tim 1 E-manage 0
Started putting air con bits back in too waiting for compressor to arrive and then will be regas time, hopefully cool for summer....
Tried to get in for power run on dyno too but they way too busy so got some new ink done instead, and hope they can get it on in couple weeks hoping to crack the 170kw atw and high 300's torque now given filter better position away from heat off radiator and considering last high power run was on 40 deg day and have modded zorst slightly, have upped boost to 9psi once again and been logging maps no issues what so ever apart from traction till tyres get heat in them.
And for anyone considering future turbo conversions running 275cc injectors is plenty could prob get away with 240cc at full boost mine are only running at touch over 60% capacity, factory fuel pump wont cut it though

Re: vipfto's turbo ride
Figured may aswell update. Motor been out for bit of freshen up before bonfire weekend. Have upped boost to 11psi and cracked to 170kw and 400nm a while ago now. Considered decompression with donk out but considering i hardly drive it just not worth it. Done a few little things like change some fuel lines around and relocated fuel filter again this time to rear under tank.
Will finish off motor after new year trip home to nz then put all back before bonfire. May even get a chanc3 for dyno run before. Have all new gaskets belts seals and tappets plugs etc going on.
