GPvR 1997 Problems (Make This FTO Great Again)
Been Working on this car for a for a couple of days now, its obvious its previous owners didnt care for it, i dont know why they would import a car from Japan just to not look after it but hey here we are.
Changed:
Alternator Belt (Stock 20 year old Mitsubishi factory belt never changed)
Timing Belt
Spark Plugs (Not changed in a long time) (The car had considerably more power and sounded better as soon as she was turned on)
Air Filter (Filthy)
Coolant head (Found an FTO at a scrap yard took its head)
To Do List:
The front 3 spark plugs had oil in it because the previous owner taped up the side instead of actually fixing the problem so that was the only place it could leak to, nothing major looks to be damaged but is a priority, the back 3 had no oil.
The Engine bay looks like it hasnt been cleaned since it rolled off the factory so its covered in 20 years of gunk and dirt which will be dealt with soon.
New Centre console because previous owners destroyed it taking out the stereo for god knows why.
Original GPVR Wing is fucked and need to buy a new one or but a different one from a fto kit.
Body Work e.g. Paint and potential rust.
If you could lend my advice to see what to check or prioritize something for the car that would be appriciated, giving up on the car is not an option for me because i already love it so none of those please.

Re: GPvR 1997 Radiator/Coolant Problem
You have to fill the coolant tower to the top and then top the plastic bottle to full as well.

If you're losing coolant and it isn't leaking externally then you most likely have a busted head gasket.

Below the radiator cap (The Sprout?) where the metal connects to rubber that leads to the collant bottle is messed up/broken, tried to do a make shift repair on it but alas it still leaks.

If you're losing coolant it's gotta get going somewhere.
Also......that ain't no GPvR

Yeah sorry about that, fixed this problem, the previous owners didnt care about this car so she needed a lot of f**king TLC, She even had a Mitsubishi Stock Fan belt still on her, a 20 year old Alternator belt straight from the factory, but we are giving her the love she deserves.
