After manual gearbox conversion, we've just bled the clutch slave but the piston coming out that is supposed to push the fork isn't moving when he presses the clutch pedal.
What is most likely - that we've bled it wrong or that the slave is knackered?
Clutch slave knackered?

If it's old replace it.
I've also had issues bleeding it by the pumping the pedal method in the past, had to use a vacuum pump.

Re: Clutch slave knackered?
I had the same problem when I took my clutch slave cylinder off.
Turned out that I wasn't bleeding it correctly.
In the end I used a large syringe and sucked fluid through the slave cylinder rather than pressing the pedal to bleed

Re: Clutch slave knackered?
Ordered a new slave for Rowans car (the newly converted manual).
In the meantime I removed the slave and managed to free up the piston using a G clamp to press it in and compressed air to pop it out, it now moves freely by hand so i've refitted it for now and will bleed it when he gets back from work (need another pair of hands/feet).
He's desperate to drive it this weekend to make sure all is ok as we're moving in a couple of weeks time so he needs it to be right for that (2400km move).
I'll still probably swap out the slave when the new one arrives though.

Protex CE Lancer ones are cheap on ebay. I just recently replaced slave and master cylinders.
