FTO Coilovers - FOX
Just wondering if anyone has tried these FOX coilover kits?
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Coilover-Sus ... 339894264a
I really want to get coilovers, and thought, if I spend money on springs, I might as well just pay more for coilovers.
Not really looking to spend $1000-1500 and I know thats what they're usually priced at.
But what do you guys think about these FOX coilovers?
(Probably will get lots of negative opinions on them, but still just want to know all your thoughts/reasons)

Before the harsher voices come in.
You get what you pay for. If 98 octane fuel was suddenly a quarter of the price at only one servo would you put it in your car? I wouldn't.

A good shock and spring combo will feel better and last longer (I suspect) than the above. You could try it, but don't be surprised if it doesn't live up to your expectations.

mmm, definitely one of those 'you get what you pay for' items... lol and I know there could be harsher voices coming in
What possible faults could there be with cheap coilovers?
(The standard FTO ride is pretty hard anyway isn't it?)

Re: FTO Coilovers - FOX
This would only be opinion as I've never owned them or read the review of any who has, but I wouldn't be surprised if the general build quality was poor. They probably won't give good performance, and will probably fail earlier.
What spring rates do these have? Stock springs on the FTO are under 2kg front and rear.

At the end of the day, it's your money, haha. As you might've gathered, this topic has been broached already with similar items and the shock-spring vs coilover debate.

Yeah haha, but no point spending $300+ for a low quality product that will most likely fail earlier
Especially since there are 0 reviews on this one

Re: FTO Coilovers - FOX
Pretty much. A good set of shocks and lowered springs will do you fine if you don't want to fork out for decent coilovers just yet.
