ADF boot polish
This question is aimed at Kiz, but if you have suggestions then feel free.
What boot polish should I be buying for my son Steven, to polish his Air Force Cadet boots and dress shoes so they become super duper mirror finish shiney?
...and were would I purchase it from?

Re: ADF boot polish
For GP Boots (Black parade boots) use Kiwi Black shoe polish. For Green poo boots use Kiwi Dubbin. And depending what parade shoes he has, either Patent leather you can only use a soft cotton cloth, and a bit of vasoline and water or General Leather then use the Kiwi Black as well.
If you can get Steven to talk to his Squadron Supply Officer or a NCO they should be able to help too. Or send me a message

Re: ADF boot polish
Thanks everyone
...besides Detonationtoby
All the older cadets are wearing shiny patent leather parade shoes, but Steven received a matte black pair.
I thought I would have to polish these up to be super shiny.
But now I know that they are meant to be matte black...thanks Zac
I will just keep them polished with Kiwi black...thanks Kiz

Re: ADF boot polish
RAAF Standing Order for Dress are basic shine for matte black shoes. They did issue Patent leather as general issue but once they are scuffed they are ruined, so they are reissuing matte black leather again.
Kiwi black shoe polish, cotton balls and warm water will be his friend. Spit actually ruins the leather so I don't advise that.
I used to high shine my GP boots, but they don't expect that now
