Anyone used Kincrome gear clamp set for timing belt?
This https://www.kincrome.com.au/product/K81 ... lamp-4-pce and / or know if it will work on our engine?
I've got to take the belt off again and it was a bitch last time trying to clamp the cam gears in place.

Can't say I have. That said, Kincrome make a reasonable bit of kit. My socket set is mostly Kincrome.

Yeah I use a Kincrome socket set at work too among other stuff.
I (we/martin) used Fraz's Kincrome cam lock tools on both my car and Long's car. They were a bit flimsy and slightly dodgy, but they got the job done. Not the same ones as those ones, though, they were these ones:

I don't use clamps

except maybe a p plater on a unicorn

1/3 turn counterclockwise on crank pulley stops the cams from springing. It tells ya in the manual.
Or do what mechanics do, vice grips holding both pulleys just a bit of tension will hold them in place.
