Paint job
As I'm very near restoring the engine completely for my fto I'm looking into switching the dreary standard silver paint to black or an orange.
Any idea of how much this will cost me?

2k and upwards from there
I'm looking at spending around 4k myself, but that doesn't include the engine bay

Re: Paint job
It really depends if you'd like it in !K or 2K paint, plus numerous other factors. If you're looking for a few years, 1K is fine. 2K is more durable, but the price skyrockets from there.

Re: Paint job
You may be OK because judging by your location, you are not in a main city.. So labour jobs like that should be a bit less.
Generally, for a good paint job, in Sydney, you would be looking at 5k and up ... That would be doing it right, and taking all windows out, doing door jams, and not just masking up and painting..
But like anything in this world you get what you pay for... I spent about 8k cash, having my Evo/GSR taken back to bare metal, all panels straightened, and fully resprayed... But top job...
