Noisy Brakes?

As I drive it seems that my brakes pads touch this discs but I'm not quite sure. After awhile it makes a really bad grinding noise when I brake. I'm no mechanic but are my brake pads done and dusted or could it possibly be something else?

Really? A visual inspection will tell you. If not sure, post a pic here.

Yep pull your wheels off and get a good look at the pads and discs.

Brake pads are fucked if it's grinding/squealing bad when u brake.
Sometimes it's ya brake disk cover guard thing rubbing on the disk after you've recently messed around in that area. But yeah brake pads if it's grinding when braking, you'll need new pads and new rotors or rotors machined depending on the damage.
