How to get Kick Plates to "work"
I've got a set of the stainless steel kick plates with the light up logo (http://www.ftoaustralia.com/modules.php ... &prodID=17) but I got them via...let's just say, unconventional means...
Anyway, they've been snipped off so I've got two loose wires. An auto electrician tested them and said they weren't working. Is there anything special to get them to work? How is it mean to light up the logo with just two wires attached to what looks like a piece of card?[/url]

One wire goes to +ve, the other to ground... wire it up to your interior lights/door open system.
To test it - attach the wires to your battery to see if it works...
I foud that mine came undone a few times... The wiring is very small and brittle where it attaches to the el sticker and often comes loose/breaks. I stripped back some of the plastic and resoldered it.
