Post by barfy »

Ok before you say do a search i did and found nothing !

Now that ive got that out of the way, i was just wanting some feedback on those who have installed one. I have a Tip and im seriously considering a purchase in the near future.

Would love to hear all the noticable gains etc ...

I would imagine the best example would be Steve's FTO (Unique FTO), and all the information about the front pipe can be found under the FTO Project link. It has dyno readings also.

But I'm sure someone will post some previous threads about the front pipe.
From FTO to EVO......

Here's the original thread when the front pipe was available as a group buy:

Has anyone tried installing these on a GR??

I believe there is a small modification needed. How hard is it?

we tested it on GAV's gr and it lost power... creates a massive amount of back pressure at the CAT... if you have an aftermarket CAT it should work... gav's is stock... theory says you should just match the CAT piping ID to the engine pipe ID which from memory is 2.5"

call UAS for clarrification as i'm not 100% sure it was a long time ago and it could have been at the extractors...
