Cheers man. Took a while to deliberate, hah. If I had the money I'd go some bronze Work Meister S1Rs in 18s for the next set. Maybe eventually!

I've been wondering something though. Is it to do with the size of the wheel, or the tyre? It seems that most people complain about the ride on 18s when they're using super thin tyres like 215/35 or 225/35. But, for example, what would be the difference between a 235/40 on a 17 inch rim (which is close to stock diameter) and a 235/40 on an 18 inch rim? The amount of width and sidewall is the same, just on a size larger.

Firstly, itll throw out your speedo to blazes, secondly, wont fit under the guards without rubbing and thirdly, is illegal due to the fact it is outside the allowable ranges.

OK,technically, it is about the profile being so low. But based on the 3 points I mentioned, why would you even bring it up if you already knew. There is no point. I swear that Gen Y will be the death of us all :geny:

I already knew those 3 points, but I wondered if anyone would agree that it would be reasonable to think that an 18 inch wheel with the same "size" tyres as on a 17 would be just as comfortable.

It's been a stressful week, cut me some slack man!

What a pain on the defect.. If the globe works, you would think it is OK.. Just clear up any broken glass/plastic..

But what can you do.. If you were a Commodore driver, you would get away with it.. But sports car.. :(

Apparently it's a danger to pedestrians. There isn't much loose stuff, but the edges are rather triangular. I'm just annoyed because I drove with similar damage for like a month when I hit that parked car in the hail. Guess I was lucky.

If all hills cops are the same, probably.

I told the one it happened Christmas eve though, so.

I though the whole idea was to avoid hitting the pedestrians. Obviously im wrong. This changes things. How many points are they worth again?

Youve still got the other light right (was it the PS side one).If so, bake it and swap over the lens temporarily). That will get you out of trouble.

Unfortunately, I've damaged the same light both times. Can I fit a drivers side light in the passenger space?

But I've got ObsidianRadio and kiz giving me a hand soon. Jack has a light I can borrow, so hopefully we can bend the bonnet back and swap things over. Taking the bar off won't be fun though.

Bar's easy mate, easiest way to do it is take it out while its still attached to the rheo. Just undo the 4 bolts that hold the rheo and undo the actual bar from the front sides and unscrew your plastic guards.
              I fix cars.
