hey guys, im chatting with a mate who has a 3d scanner.
im looking to get a few projects together to drive the costs down. bigger print job means i can use cheaper abs material
so..
i need some help.
im going to pull a few bits off my car and scan them, but there are some parts i have that are shot, and i would very much like to get them scanned.
so someone in adelaide who has the two main parts of the stereo surround upper and lower, mostly intact let me know. i would like to see what we can do with both colour and cost for 3d printing.
i'll organise a day to go up there, i want to pull off my bumper and scan that in, going to look at printing a new spoiler (: since i want to blend mine, i want to remove the whole thing.
plus dash dial surround, the air-conditioner unit surround.
basically if i only do one console, its going to cost 4 times as much. so im looking to produce a few things
those of you who have my number in adelaide and are interested, sms me, or PM here
3d scanning day

Well I completely replaced all the parts of my centre console/stereo surround recently so they are brand new, but bugger running the risk of breaking them while taking them out again

There are two types of people on forums; those that give helpful advice, and the others
