Yeah doesn't look as bad as the one I wrecked in geelong few months back with similar front end damage.

Sounds like you did EXACTLY what i did! Although you didn't get caught by the dirty coppers, so lucky you!

It sucks pretty bad, but you will get her back on the road!

The sadest part is, when you do get her back, you will feel the difference in the steering :(

um... for a pre facelift FTO, I'd put the price of happiness at about $4k tops. (the price of another decent condition one vs repair cost lol)

my sly comment aside, good to hear she's repairable and you're alright, expensive lesson learnt I guess. :) So what was the final verdict on the damage anyway?

$600, control arm bent, steering is different but its all fine now
