Any one going to MAS this year?

Post by YFT-08U »

HEy all,
Just seeing if any one is going to attend Melbourne Auto Salon. I should have my car entered once again, I have also done some more work to it.

If any one is going, let me know, and we should catch up when there.

12-13th July @ Jeff's Shed (opp Crown Casino)

I was thinking of entering my car, but since evo-5 style carbonfibre bonnets are illegal, there goes my plan...!!

...but i will be there to watch nevertheless! :)

You could always drive over with one bonnet and then change to the fiberglass one while you are there - or even tow the car instead.

somehow i find it very hard to justify forking out $1500 for a bonnet that is only used every once in a while...

Can't believe some of you guys are driving around in illegally modified FTOs. If you have a crash and (assuming you're alright to begin with) you make a quote with your insurance company, they'll nitpick over anything to deny your claim. If the car is not deemed roadworthy, then insurance has the right to refuse any claim. Then you're up the proverbial creek without a paddle. 8O

*nods* maybe =)

Nah, I"m not entering this year, I haven't done any changes to it so I don't think it'll be worth putting it in =) My car isn't anything that special =)

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.
