More Help.

Post by Jase726 »

Changed my plugs and leads today. I've done this a couple of times before so I've got it down to a fine art (so I thought). So today was a little different. Firstly I pulled the end out of one of my top gun leads. I thought it looked a bit short so I went to take it off nice and gently and ended up pulling the end out. IMO it could have been a few centimetres longer however it did match up with the leads I had in. So I swapped it out for one of the old leads and put it back together. Started first go but sounds like its not running on all 6. If I giver her a rev all I get is backfiring and complaints. I've pulled it apart twice to check but I'm still getting the same thing. My question is does each coil match up to the corresponding plug on the opposite bank? That's how I thought it was and that's how I've got my leads. Any help would be great. Running out of time and I really need transport.
