Which Wiper Arm Goes Where?

Post by HiRAEdd »

I just replaced my wiper blades and I noticed on http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/steve/lucifer/wipers.htm that they say the passenger's side is 21" and the driver's side is 20". However on my car, it's the other way round. Is it likely that someone has put the wiper arms on back to front or is this how your cars are set up too?

I have the longer one on the passangers side... I doesn't really make a difference, if you notice that your wipers are not working very good or one of them is too long on one side change em around...

First I had the longer one on the Drivers side, but it was to big, as whe nit went up the top was not even on the glass... (I think from memory)

After changing the longer one to the other side, the wipers actually work slightly better

Hope that helps

What length wipers blades do I need?
The blades are two different lengths, 20" for the drivers side and 21" for the passengers side
from FTO OC.....

Ok, so there's two web sites that totally contradict each other.
Ah well, as long as they work :)

I've got PIAA wiper arms from Japan, and the package specifically specifies that the driver side uses the shorter length for the FTO.
From FTO to EVO......
