Well, it really depends how much damage your front bar is. Just to give you an idea, a facelift (Genuine) front bumper costs $680 (without paint). And then if you have to replace any front bar re-inforcements, you're looking between $150 and $550.andie066 wrote:well i just had a accident and i need a new front bar how much is the veilside compared to a stock bar? i want to see if i can get a veilside insted of stock from insurance
I think the Veilside copies front bar kit uses the stock front bar re-inforcements. So, if these are damaged, insurance have to replace these as well.
And I guess the other thing you have to consider is whether or not your insurance company will hike up your premium if you add a bodykit to your car. So in the long run, the cost to you may even out.

According to the UAS website, a non-genuine stock prefacelift is $100 than the Veilside copy.
But if the accident is not your fault anyways, you should get as much out of it as possible. Was the other dude insured? If he/she was, I would, my personal opinion try to get some genuine parts. If he/she wasn't, then you could try to speed things abit by getting cheaper parts if they're short of $$.
